API Architecture Unit is part of the Chief Technology Office in Deutsche Boerse Group and it offers an innovation-driven space to foster rapid product development focused on APIs and API management and security.
One of our largest showcases is the Digital Business Platform (DBP).
The DBP is a platform powering internet-based APIs, built and operated by Deutsche Börse Group, and accessible to anyone from tech firms to private developers. Through the platform’s Developer Portal customers can gain free and subscription-based access to Deutsche Boerse data and services.
The Digital Business Platform is continuously being developed and improved following new market trends, customer feedback and company needs and regulatory requirements.
We look for people who are enthusiastic about learning challenging topics, like to play with the full technology stack and love building, breaking and operating highly reliable systems using Cloud Technology. We have a microservice architecture, primarily written in Go with a React-based frontend. The platform is deployed in Amazon EKS and employs state-of-the-art tooling like such as Terraform, Argo CD, Concourse, Circle CI and Github.
Your responsibilities:
Design, build, develop and enhance the platforms features and infrastructure
Review and provide feedback on the work of other team colleagues
Investigate issues based on customers enquiries or reported incidents
Participate in shaping the current and future functionality of the platform
Your profile:
IT University degree
3y of professional experience in building and maintaining applications written in Go
Proficiency in REST and gRPC API design and implementation
Excellent knowledge of relational
Experience in building cloud-native and scalable systems, employing both synchronous and asynchronous communication models
Considered as advantages:

Hands-on experience with Python, JavaScript (Node), and Bash scripting
Practical knowledge of Postgres
Experience with Elasticsearch
Familiarity with NATS or other message-oriented middleware
Experience in service deployment and container orchestration using Kubernetes, Argo CD, and Helm
Practical use of Terraform or similar Infrastructure as Code tooling
Knowledge of the OSI Model, TCP, HTTP/2, TLS
Knowledge of PKI, OAuth 2.0 / OpenID Connect, SAML, SCIM 2.0
