Your area of work:
In our Regulation team, you can actively participate in shaping EU regulation.In addition to shaping the content and strategy of current regulatory topics from the perspective of an exchange operator with a focus on market data, data economy and digital economy, your tasks will also include identifying opportunities resulting from new regulations and supporting the implementation of new regulatory requirements for the business area. Due to the strategic implication of regulatory changes on the business of Market Data + Services, you will work closely coordinated with our executives.
Your responsibilities:
- In our Team Regulation you will be responsible for analyzing, evaluating and commenting on international, European or national regulatory topics related to Deutsche Börse AG's data business
- Based on your analyses, you will prepare and evaluate regulatory adjustments and position papers and represent these vis-à-vis internal and external stakeholders
- The management-oriented preparation of analysis results and the presentation to decision-makers is also part of your tasks and you enjoy it
- In addition, you will be responsible to respond to inquiries from regulatory authorities as regards your topics (e.g. BaFin, ESMA) and actively participate in the work of industry associations
- The continuous and close coordination with our business departments regarding necessary regulatory adjustments affecting their business, as well as regarding the introduction of new regulated products are central to your field of activity
- You will work on various specialist projects and, if required, will also take on the role of the project manager
- You will continuously contribute to the further development of the Regulation Team
Your profile:
- Degree in law, or business informatics, or economics
- At least 5 years of professional experience in market data, financial markets, or regulatory management
- Good knowledge of the Digital and / or Data Economy is an advantage
- Interest in strategy development, methodological skills, and the ability to present complex issues in a simple way are required
- German and English proficiency in word and writing
