Your area of work:


As Vice President / Senior Vice President - Equity and Index Sales you will be responsible among other, for the following list of activities: 

•    Customer responsibility

◦    Cover sell side banks, Hedge-Funds, Asset Managers and IDBs as their key point of contact for all Eurex Equity and Index product portfolio related concerns. This requires a deep understanding of the product portfolio but also a broad understanding and network on client side
◦    Pro-actively approach the various client desks and execute sales campaigns. Setup quarterly touchpoints with your banks client base in order to go through product portfolio, client stats and ongoing campaigns and launches
◦    Develop a thorough understanding of the various strategies and operational setup at each customer and how they interact with Eurex, create new relationships and deepen existing relationships with key decisions makers
◦    Serve clients with tailored information needed and jointly setup processes to leverage information distribution
◦    Organise joint client events and roadshows with banks partners in products around topics such as TRFs, Variance, MSCI, Dividends or ESG product suite
◦    Represent the asset class and company in one on one and group client meetings, conferences and panels
◦    Promote market structure initiatives such as Eurex Improve, Eurex EnLight or the NextGen ETD project in order to get client support and flow 
◦    Work with the team, locally and globally, to share information and create a strategic approach to coordinating product and market structure discussions for each customer
◦    Act as a liaison between customers and other Eurex departments such as Product Development and Strategy, Market Structure and Pricing in order to facilitate discussions and ensure customer feedback is thoroughly coordinated
◦    Report internally feedback, deliverables and org structure

•    Product responsibility

◦    Assume responsibility for a strategically important product within the Equity and Index Eurex portfolio, develop a clear understanding of the market, current and potential user base, locally and globally and build a strategy to gain customer participation 
◦    Work with the team, locally and globally to implement a sales strategy amongst all customer types on the sell-side and buyside
◦    Find strategic partners in the market that can leverage their expertise to expand the customer base

Your profile: 

◦    Minimum of 10 years’ experience in a senior sales role in equity derivatives
◦    A solid network on client side and French financial industry or experience in a sales role on banks/IDB sales desk
◦    Fluent speaking in French and English
◦    Ability to engage and attract new clients, as well as maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders and existing clients
◦    Deep know how and understanding of derivatives products and markets. General understanding of the trading-, back-office and clearing operations of global financial institutions
◦    Robust understanding of clients’ trading behaviours, product usage, market structure impacts, company organisation, derivatives markets challenges, and regulatory requirements
◦    Excellent presentation and interpersonal skills
◦    Strong organizational, problem-solving and analytical skills
◦    Highly motivated, team orientated and flexible
