CGSS is Clearstream’s largest operational centre for investment funds and provides hedge and mutual fund custodian services for 60 major financial institutions with positions in over 25,000 hedge funds. The Automation Cork team builds and maintains several applications and automation solutions for Clearstream, the leading international central securities depository. The team enables business teams to process their day-to-day workload more efficiently. We are seeking a highly motivated and talented Software Engineer to join our team at the Automation Cork unit. As a Software Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, deploying, and maintaining components in our next generation microservice applications.

Your Responsibilities

Design, develop, test, deploy and maintain components in next-generation microservice applications.
Manage individual project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables.
Communicate with internal stakeholders across various business locations.
Support our functional analysts and testers with their queries.
Work closely with our development team to migrate on-premise applications to the Cloud.

Your Profile

University degree or equivalent in a computer-based discipline.
3+ years of experience with Golang or equivalent.
Experience with SQL DB and PL/SQL.
Knowledge of integration patterns with other microservices.
Experience with modern Javascript UI (React JS/Angular JS).
Understanding of Object database systems such as Mongo.
Experience with automation tools for building, deployment, testing, and monitoring.
Experience with the deployment of applications to the Cloud
Experience with other languages like Java/C++/Python
Self-motivated and eager to learn new tools and technologies.
A team player with excellent communication and collaboration skills.
