Your area of work
The Capital Planning Team within Deutsche Börse Group is responsible for all aspects of capital analysis, forecasting, and planning. The Team advises the management on the capital strategy as well as provides Board members with essential analysis and simulation to make important business and capital allocation decisions. To achieve these objectives, the Capital Planning Team works closely with colleagues from Risk Management, Treasury, the business and other corporate functions. The team ensures future capital ratios are compliant with new and revised regulations while the capital planning forecasts are also consistent with the overall group budget and liquidity planning. In addition, the team assesses and monitors appropriate capital allocation within Deutsche Börse Group and is responsible for forecasting dividend streams.
Your responsibilities
- Responsibility for the capital planning process of regulated legal entities of Deutsche Börse Group
- Monitoring adherence to current and future regulatory requirements
- Pro-active approach in monitoring business changes that impact the legal entities’ capital position
- Compile the Capital Plan while considering the associated governance and controls
- Perform and present to executive board members and/or top management relevant analyses and simulations
- Collaborate with other stakeholders within the group (i.a. Risk Management, Controlling, Treasury, Compliance, Legal) and external parties (i.a. auditors, law firms)
- Support group projects and initiatives (e.g. M&A, corporate restructuring, process automation) and thereby ensuring compliant implementation with respect to capital requirements
Your profile
- We are looking for a candidate with profound knowledge and experience
- University degree in economics and/or a relevant comparable qualification
- Regulatory knowledge with focus on capital requirements (i.a. CRR, CRD, CSDR, EMIR, BRRD, KWG)
- Very high flexibility and ability to cope with stress
- Ability to present complex topics to top management
- Strong analytical skills and a very high level of individual initiative
- Proficiency in written and spoken German and English
