Your area of work:

Our Network Operations team at Deutsche Börse Services Prague Branch is offering a vacancy for a student to fill the position of Student Network Operation Analyst. The Network Operations team’s main objective is to monitor and comprehensively troubleshoot Deutsche Börse Group’s network using Group’s proprietary tools. The job initially involves administrative support of the team, nevertheless, technical knowledge can be gained from being trained by experienced colleagues.

As a Student in the Network Operations team you will have an excellent opportunity to explore capital market dynamics live and gain valuable practical experience in an innovative company. The Network Operations team provides exchange participants with highly skilled support in an IT environment. The team is distributed internationally amongst the locations Prague and Chicago.

The team is looking for longer cooperation hence bachelor students that plan to remain in Prague for their masters are preferred.

Your responsibilities:

Supporting the Network Operations team in administrative tasks.
Supporting internal projects.
Learning and improving internal processes.

Your profile:

Graduation from Technical High School, preferably Networking field of study
Students must be enrolled in an academic program recognized by the state during their student assistance
Proficiency in MS-Office
Interest in Networking fundamentals and in the analysis of technical problems
IT knowledge desirable or a strong desire to learn about financial markets IT
Team player with good communication skills
Fluency in English (written and spoken)

Contract type: Agreement on Work activities (in Czech: Dohoda o pracovni cinnosti)
Working time/ hours: up to 20 hours per week
