Area of work:
As a Swaps Clearing Software Developer you will be mainly responsible for development and maintenance of the Eurex Clearing applications for Swaps derivatives and their components.


Your responsibilities:

  • Design, build, test and maintenance of the Eurex Clearing applications for Swaps derivatives.
  • Support during the rollout phase of new releases and release introduction.
  • Maintenance and issue resolution of the Swaps Clearing application.
  • Collaboration in a multi-cultural international team.


Your profile:

  • University degree or higher technical degree in an IT related discipline.
  • Technical skills in the following domains:

                   o    Software development in Calypso, Java/JakartaEE on SpringBoot.

                   o    Knowledge of Calypso architecture and customizations will be an asset.

                   o    Essential for Java software development: Multithreading, Object Orientation and Core Java.

                   o    Desirable for Java software development: Spring framework, Hibernate, JDBC, TestNG or Junit.

                   o    Kubernetes, OpenShift, Containerization.

                   o    Cloud migration to AWS, Google Cloud Platform (GCP), etc.

                   o    Service-oriented/MicroServices architectures.

                   o    SQL-database expertise in Oracle and PostgreSQL.

                   o    Jira, GitHub, Fortify, etc.

                   o    Linux.

  • Additional skills in one or more of the following areas will be of advantage

                   o    Programming in Python
                   o    Shell scripting

  • Inter-personal skills are essential:

                   o    Good communication and analytical skills

                   o    Highly self-motivated, self-directed and attentive to details

                   o    Ability to work in a multi-cultural international team.

                   o    Fluency in English is mandatory, in verbal and written form; German is an asset.

Additionally, you need to be a team player with good communication skills, highly motivated, flexible and good at handling MS Office applications.
