Your area of work:
DBG Risk Reporting provides regular and ad hoc reports on all relevant risk figures assessed within the internal view on the companywide capital ad liquidity adequacy, e.g. key metrics quantifying operational, financial, pension and business risks. The main goal is to support the effective and efficient risk management, which empowers management committees within DBG to control the risk profile of the entire Group or of single legal entities, as well as significant individual risks, in a timely manner. In your role as Team Lead Risk Reporting, you will be responsible for all regular and ad-hoc risk reporting tasks including the annual review of the key risk metrics involved. You will inform senior management of DBG on the current risk situation on a regular basis and will be constantly looking for possibilities to optimize and automatize the relevant systems and processes.
- Lead the Risk Reporting team, actively manage and develop team capabilities
- Independently challenge the effectiveness of reporting processes and their level of automatization
- Critically assess the quality of the reported risk figures regarding their completeness, traceability, and consistency and design a new centralized automatized set up for risk reporting processes
- Define clear roles and responsibilities for all stakeholders and drive the onboarding of risk reporting process for newly acquired legal entities of DBG
- Coordinate the regular and ad hoc risk reporting tasks, present the results to senior management
- Ensure regulatory submissions are provided in time and good quality
- Graduate degree or PhD in Finance, Economics, Risk Management, Data Science, or related fields
- Several years (at least 5) of relevant work experience, preferably in project and change management or risk reporting
- Previous project and/or team leadership experience, high degree of organizational self-reliance
- Well-developed analytical skills, creativity, critical thinking as well as high results orientation and very good communication skills
- Efficient team player with a high degree of organizational self-reliance
- Proficiency in written and spoken English, additional German language skills are desirable
