Do you want to help shape energy markets? Join Energy IT M7 Trading development team, developing trading system for 24/7 continuous intraday power trading used by major European energy exchanges. Our products have the highest market share in Intraday power trading in Europe. Our development teams are located in Prague, they consist of highly skilled professionals and work with the latest proven industry standard technologies.
Your responsibilities:
- Create test cases to exercise new product features.
- Develop new and automate existing test cases.
- Conduct exploratory tests of new features and bug fixes.
- Coordinate automation of test cases and its scope with developers and functional analysts.
- Participate in code reviews with focus on testability.
- Document results of tests accurately and in detail.
- Ensure compliance with product testing standards.
Your profile:
- Knowledge of programming languages Java or Kotlin.
- Active interest in software testing.
- Interest to work as a test developer long-term and not only temporarily
- Technical knowledge in programming and testing at the medior level or better. If you are junior, but with a passion for testing and with concrete experience with programming, either in Java or Kotlin, do not hesitate to apply as well.
- Strong communication, analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to identify and fix bugs.
- Ability to learn quickly and work independently.
- Proficiency in English.
Would be an advantage:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Knowledge of test automation frameworks and libraries like Junit, Cucumber or Kotlin.test.
- Experience as a Software Tester, Test Developer or in a similar position.
- Hands on experience with GitHub, Docker, Jenkins, Grafana and Kibana.
- Event streaming and messaging: Kafka, RabbitMQ.
- Build: Gradle, Maven.
- Experience with an agile environment.
