Your area of work
The Market Data + Services department develops, maintains and markets all of Deutsche Börse’s data, e.g., DAX and STOXX as well as data from Deutsche Börse’s trading platforms like Xetra or Eurex and its cooperation partners.
Our clients are the leading financial organizations worldwide, spanning across the leading investment banks, hedge funds, high frequency trading firms and specialist providers of financial information.
As a working student (f/m/d) you will support the Customer Compliance Team with Customer Audits and Customer Reporting.
Your responsibilities - Audit:
- You will include liaising with the team to test the processing of data sets within an in-house application, ad hoc data normalisation and data analysis
- You will gain insights into the tasks and processes related to international Market Data Audits, Reporting, and compliance reviews
- You will support the team testing in-house Audit Tools by processing and reconciling data sets to ensure the changes to the tools have met all requirements
- You will assist the team in the processing, reconciliation and analysis of data sets and the automation of data processing
- You will take responsibility for data entry, maintain templates and VBA Macros supporting the Audits and Management Reporting
Your responsibilities - Reporting:
- You will support the Reporting function will include supporting the daily business operations and data analysis including verification of Customer Reporting Contacts, to ensure an efficient communication
- You will conduct customer account reviews aimed to ensure the monthly Reporting received is in line with the contractual requirement
- You will review on demand significant changes within the monthly Reporting and identify relevant cases for further investigation
- You will run database queries to support the daily activities, ad hoc analysis and ensuring the correctness of the Reporting data provided
- You will assist the Reporting Team with account reconciliation of Direct Reporting Customers Reporting and Sub-Vendor Reports
Your profile:
- You will be enrolled during the entire period of the role at a state-recognized university and are a regular student who has completed at least 2 semesters (Your focus of Study should be in the field of economics, business studies or other relevant fields)
- You have an understanding of numbers and you are interested in IT-related topics, but can also be enthusiastic about administrative activities
- In addition, you like to work cooperatively in teams, and can also quickly take on your own responsibility and work independently
- You have a good knowledge on MS Office Applications, especially Excel, as well as experience with data analysis. Some experience with VBA, Python, SQL, Qliksense or JIRA would be advantageous
- Furthermore, you are fluent in written and spoken English
