As a Working Student, you will contribute to the Data Services team by developing and maintaining our client portal, MD+S interactive, and potentially other departmental tools. Your primary focus will be planning, specifying, executing, and documenting software tests. By collaborating with process owners, you will gain in-depth knowledge of the application’s functionality to achieve comprehensive test coverage. Your responsibilities:

  • You will gain a deep understanding of the client portal's complex functionalities through self-directed learning, and collaboration with process owners
  • You will develop and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases, covering a wide range of scenarios, while mastering the intricacies of our proprietary testing requirements
  • You will collaborate with process owners to translate business requirements into testable scenarios, ensuring complete test coverage and alignment with user needs. Document test results thoroughly, providing clear and actionable feedback to the development team
  • You will manage the lifecycle of identified software defects, including meticulous documentation, tracking progress within our ticketing system, and persistent follow-up with development teams to ensure timely resolution

Your profile:

  • You will be enrolled during the entire period of the role at a state-recognised university and are a regular student who has completed at least 2 semesters (your focus of study should be in the field of informatics, computer science, economics, business studies or other relevant fields). Furthermore, we offer the possibility of an orientation internship, whereby you are currently in a gap-year after your bachelor's or master's degree in the above-mentioned fields of study - in this case, an enrolment is not required
