Your area of work:
MiFID II & MiFIR substantially shaped regulatory reporting of Deutsche Börse in recent years. To fulfil our target to continuously improve these regulatory services both for our customers as well as our regulators, Deutsche Börse is looking for a Functional Analyst with strong data analytics skills. You will be working in a great team which consists of both young and seasoned professionals. 

As Functional Analyst, you will be the interface between the business and the IT department and will be responsible for the transformation of business requirements into functional/technical specifications which serve as input for software implementation as well as quality assurance.

Your responsibilities:

  • Analysis of exchange related reference and transaction data using data analytics languages/software like SQL / Zeppelin Notebook will be an important part of your daily job
  • You will engineer the MiFID II & MiFIR requirements for the business owners Eurex & Xetra
  • You will act as quality gate for incoming business requirements towards developers and quality assurance
  • In that role you will convert business specification into functional/technical specifications which can be readily implemented by the developers
  • Understanding the regulatory requirements and keeping up with changes in the regulatory landscape will be an integral part of your responsibilities

 

Your profile:

  • You have a university degree and/or a comparable education
  • You have very strong data analytics skills, particularly in SQL 
  • You are detail oriented and curious about understanding complex dataflows between various systems 
  • In previous positions you gathered experience in writing functional/technical specifications
  • You are highly communicative, focused and have a solution-oriented attitude
  • You are proficient in written and spoken English and German language

 

The following will be a plus:

  • You have knowledge of the Deutsche Börse Trading System Landscape (T7)
  • You have experience in regulatory reporting according to MiFID II / MiFIR
