Your area of work:

As Trading Test, we are responsible for ensuring high quality software of Deutsche Börse’s Derivatives & Cash Trading Platform T7 and Theoretical Pricing Engine. You will work firsthand with existing and new financial market products and processes – especially order management and matching as well as theoretical pricing. The Trading Test team supports the whole software delivery lifecycle from specification, technical design and implementation to go-live and maintenance.

We are looking for experienced functional testers, who are interested in working in a functionality-rich, dynamic, and challenging environment.

Your responsibilities:

System Test of Deutsche Börse’s Cash and Derivatives Trading Platform T7 and Pricing Engine
Review IT specifications and provide feedback to the Trading Functionality team
Test case design, test data definition as well as test execution per functional specifications
Back-End and Front-End test case automation using an in-house automation tool, python, Selenium and BDD test framework
Defect analysis, reporting and retesting
Close collaboration with specification and build teams as well as business stakeholders to verify expectations and test findings
Maintain and update automated test suites (regression test portfolio) with new functional requirements

Your profile:

University degree in Economics, Applied Mathematics, Computer Science or other quantitative discipline
Experience in functional analysis and/or as a functional tester
User level experience with a Linux operating system
Willingness to learn in addition to identify, drive and implement potential improvements
Analytically-minded with solid problem-solving skills
Strong communication skills in a distributed working environment
Ability to manage multiple project priorities, deadlines and deliverables simultaneously
Fluent English, German is beneficial

Nice to Have/Preferred:

Knowledge of financial markets and option pricing models
Test automation experience, preferably using Python, Selenium and/or a BDD test framework
Scripting experience, preferably in Python and/or Shell
Experience with GitHub, Jira, and CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins)
Knowledge of relational databases (e.g. MySQL)
