Your area of work:

 

As an Insurance Associate you will be working in our team within a global environment. Your primary responsibility will be the organizational and administrative support of insurance related tasks. You will be involved in the ongoing development and maintenance of DBG’s international insurance portfolio and will significantly contribute to Deutsche Börse Group overall strategy and shape their way towards establishing Deutsche Börse Group as a top company. 

 


Your responsibilities:

 

  • You are jointly responsible for a dedicated set of international insurance policies/ programs
  • In preparation for the renewal of the respective contracts you will request, analyse and prepare data as well as support tenders by contacting internal (business units, central functions) as well as external stakeholders (insurers, insurance brokers)
  • You take responsibility for integrating changed or new risk profiles as well as handling internal and external insurance related requests
  • In addition, you will play an active role in maintaining and improving document management processes, ensuring that insurance-related records, reports, and information are organized, accessible, and up to date 
  • You are involved in the insurance claims handling
  • You actively participate in the preparation of management reports and presentations
  • You are responsible for ensuring compliance with internal governance requirements and insurance-related policies and procedures
  • Furthermore, you will jointly contribute to the continuous improvement of insurance processes and risk management practices
        
        

Your profile:

 

  • You have completed your university degree in Business Administration, Insurance, Risk Management, Law, Finance or related field
  • You have at least 2 years of relevant professional experience in corporate insurance, risk management, insurance brokerage, the insurance industry, or project management
  • You have proven experience working in an international corporate environment
  • A strong analytical, independent, result-oriented and agile working method in a team is self- evident for you
  • Excellent organizational and project management as well as strong communication and stakeholder management skills round off your profile
  • Native or near-native proficiency in German, fluent English communication skills, and advanced MS Office proficiency
