Join Clearstream Fund Services as a Data Product Intern to support the evolution of how data is utilized across the business.

 

This role focuses on how fund data is received, assessed, processed and utilized across the firm. You will contribute to identifying process re‑engineering opportunities, maximizing the value of data received from asset managers and other data providers, and considering how the team can improve how data is ingested and consumed by downstream teams.

 

The internship offers a high‑impact opportunity to work at the intersection of data, operations and product management, management, with exposure to data‑driven automation and AI‑enabled initiatives used to support data processing and optimization. The work performed in this role will directly influence data utilization, data availability and the effective use of information across multiple areas of the organization, including Product, Operations and downstream services.

 

You will gain hands‑on experience with real operational data products, exposure to cross‑functional collaboration (including IT teams), and insight into how fund data underpins critical business processes within the investment funds industry.

 

Your responsibilities:

  • Support the analysis how fund data is received, processed and utilized across operational data products and data flows
  • Help assess data received from asset managers and existing data providers, identifying gaps, inefficiencies and opportunities to improve data coverage, quality and usability
  • Support initiatives aimed at maximizing the value of data received and improving how data is ingested into downstream systems
  • Help identify and document process re‑engineering opportunities related to fund data onboarding, maintenance and usage
  • Contribute to the definition and documentation of data requirements, data flows and operational processes
  • Support collaboration with IT and data platform teams to understand how data is technically ingested, processed and made available across systems
  • Help identify system dependencies, constraints and improvement opportunities within existing data flows and integrations
  • Contribute to collaboration with internal stakeholders across Data, Product, Operations and IT
  • Interact, where appropriate, with asset managers or existing contacts to better understand data content, delivery structures and expectations
  • Help document findings, insights and recommendations in structured and clear manner

 


Your profile:

  • You are enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's Degree program in Data Science, Information Systems, Finance, Economics, Engineeringand can provide an internship agreement, OR have graduated with a Bachelor's degree or similar for no more than 6 months 

  • Strong interest in data, operational processes and how data supports business and product outcomes
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to understand structured data and identify patterns, issues and improvement opportunities
  • Basic understanding of data concepts such as data quality, data ingestion, data flows and data lifecycle
  • Interest in process optimization, operational efficiency or data‑driven improvement initiatives
  • Ability to work with both technical and non‑technical stakeholders
  • Strong attention to detail and problem‑solving skills
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Interest in financial services, investment funds or data‑driven products
  • Fluency in English
