With the new EU regulation DORA (Digital Operational Resilience Act), Deutsche Börse AG is building a new team in Prague which will become one of our key functions in supporting the management, steering and controls of the service providers relevant for DORA.
Field of activity
You will work in the Outsourcing & Third-Party Risk Management Team of Deutsche Börse AG in Prague and collaborate closely with experts across the entire Deutsche Börse Group, with the business as well as with control functions involved in the service provider management (using DORA terminology the so called Information and Communication Technology (ICT) service providers). Following detailed knowledge transfer and training, you will support the identification, categorisation, assessment, monitoring and reporting of ICT services commissioned from third parties, based on an established and proven process. Supporting internal and external audits with regards to ICT services will create opportunities for you to regularly experience an outside-in view, and you will be in a position to work on projects to improve our third-party risk management processes following such audits, thereby gaining useful project management experience and insights. If you are on top interested in applying new technologies such as practical use of AI to optimize our third-party risk management process, you will be a perfect fit into our team.
Tasks/responsibilities
- Jointly with your team, you are responsible for the execution of processes relating to the identification, review, evaluation, monitoring and reporting of Outsourcings and ICT Services,
- Your main task includes the coordination of collection of information from other control functions related to service provisioning and service providers, its review and quality assurance,
- Thereby you will advise and support the business along the contract lifecycle,
- You take responsibility for adequate and timely creation of pre-defined reports to business and actively participate in the preparation of executive management reports with focus on monitoring aspects
Qualifications/required skills
- Ideally you have at least 2 years of professional experience in disciplines such as Outsourcing Management, Provider Risk Management, Supplier Security, Risk Management, Compliance or a comparable discipline
- Good knowledge of supervisory law in financial services, especially DORA, would be desirable,
- You have experience in working in project organisations with result-oriented working methods,
- You have very strong communication skills.
- You feel comfortable with working in a team across different locations,
- Proficiency in written and spoken English is a must, knowledge of German is of advantage
