Your area of work: 

Warehouse area via numerous applications called: CDL application (Clearstream Data Layer built on cloud latest technologies), Claims and Risk Management, Risk management, Regulatory Reporting, Customer’s Reporting, Reference Data Repository and services related to Trends and Patterns Monitoring, Credit Customer rating application (Jewel).

 

As a Data Governance Specialist, you will work on the roll-out of the data governance program across multiple business segments and streams, connecting various data sources to central enterprise data catalogue.

 

Your Responsibilities

Your assignments will include:

  • Integrate enterprise data catalogue tool with existing company data sources
  • Create new metadata ingestion pipelines,
  • Support alignment and definition of the Data Domain Model,
  • Ensure consistency and quality input across the data domains. Provide ongoing guidance and quality assurance during the domains onboarding,
  • Create, review, and maintain relevant documentation and user guides, including best practices, processes, standards, and policies documentation,
  • Drive resolution of encountered issues on assignments under responsibility,
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with internal stakeholders and other DMG relevant actors, to ensure good organizational alignment.

 

Your Profile

  • Educational background and/or relevant experience in Information Technology, Data Management, Data Analytics, Data Governance or alike,
  • A solid understanding of enterprise data management concepts, including data lifecycle management, data modelling, metadata management, data architecture principles and data quality management,
  • A good understanding of data cataloguing, databases and data structures, data models and data domains as well as data governance standards. Experience with data management and governance in big data and/or data lake environments is desirable,
  • Knowledge in the following areas:
    • Experience with SQL
    • Cloud technologies in general,
    • Git/Github,
  • Critical thinking, sound analytical, conceptual, and problem-solving skills,
  • Strong collaboration and interpersonal skills, ability to effectively communicate with stakeholders in various organizational areas,
  • Ability to meet challenging project deadlines and deliver in a fast moving and change oriented environment,
  • Proficiency in written and spoken English;
