Your area of work:

As member of Backup administration team, you will provide support to IT mission critical applications and will ensure that maximum service level is provided to customers on a 24-hour basis.

Your responsibilities:

Participate in the design, development, implementation, and maintenance of the backup infrastructure
Create and maintain detailed documentation and procedures of the backup environment in all aspects of its utilization; ensure associated work in compliance with the documented procedures.
Ensure operational stability of the field of responsibility
Provide escalation support following processes and interacting appropriately with other departments and end users, when required
Take part in on-call rotation

Your profile:

University degree (master or diploma) in IT related discipline or equivalent through relevant work experience
Fluent in both written and spoken English
At least 2 years of experience on similar position
Fundamentals Unix/Linux administration, shell scripting, Perl, and Python programming
First experience with backup management, notions with Veritas Netbackup software, Veritas Netbackup appliances/FLEX, Tape library management (IBM), IBM COS is an advantage.
Network notions, Cloud platforms - GCP or Azure notions
IT problem-solving skills
Good communication and analytical skills
Proven ability to work in both standalone and team mode
Ability to learn fast.
