Your area of work:

Xetra/Eurex IT Operations, Trading Applications Administration is responsible for the installation, testing, and operation of Deutsche Börse trading applications, primarily Xetra and Eurex, using T7 technology. 
This role involves managing operations and technical administration for acceptance testing, simulation, and production of T7 environments in close collaboration with development teams. It includes conducting technical tests, automating monitoring and operational processes, and providing second-level support for production operations. 
You will work in a carefully maintained environment with mission-critical, high-performance, and high-availability systems.
 
Your responsibilities:

  • Install and configure applications in test, simulation, and production environments.
  • Operate the software acceptance environment and perform independent technical testing.
  • Test and maintain documentation.
  • Utilize tools such as Jira and GIT.
  • Provide 2nd/3rd level support for internal and external customers.
  • Administer, monitor, and troubleshoot trading applications, including recording and processing incident reports in SAP and Jira ticket systems, and collaborating with technical and customer service departments.
  • Participate in shift rotations, including on-call duties and weekend work.

 
Your profile:

  • Basic system management knowledge of RedHat Linux.
  • Experience with scripting languages such as Python or Bash for analysis.
  • Database knowledge, particularly MySQL, is advantageous.
  • Strong analytical skills for troubleshooting.
  • Self-motivated and capable of working independently without guidance.
  • Proficient in written and spoken German and English.
