Your area of work
Eurex Repo GmbH is the leading European marketplace for international secured funding and financing. It offers an integrated market for electronic trading, clearing, collateral management and settlement of repo transactions. Its GC Pooling is the European benchmark for standardized secured funding with central clearing.
You will work in a young and dynamic team together with the outsourcing team of Eurex Repo GmbH in Eschborn. You will work closely with the other outsourcing experts across the entire Deutsche Börse Group and the business owners as well as the involved control units to apply and further develop the general outsourcing process and the outsourcing control system. You will be responsible for the implementation of regulatory requirements dealing with the identification, classification, evaluation and monitoring of Outsourcings & Information and Communication Technology (ICT) services outsourced by Eurex Repo. You further ensure appropriate and regular reporting with regard to regulatory requirements and service provider management (Specially under DORA the ICT service provider). In addition, you report on material results and risks directly to the Management Board of Eurex Repo and prepare the recommendation for a fact-based decision. The support of internal and external audits regarding the monitoring of outsourced services complete your task profile.
Your responsibilities
- Implementation of projects and execution of processes around the identification, review, assessment, monitoring and reporting of regulatory outsourcing and ICT Services including all sub-outsourcings
- Implementation and contribution to further develop management of outsourcings and corresponding control and monitoring processes
- Analysis of regulatory changes to outsourcing regulations related to projects and processes
- Execution of processes to ensure the identification of outsourcing arrangements
- Support through guidance and regular trainings to business areas/ 1st Line of Defense functions with regards to the overall outsourcing process
- Support of internal and external audits with regards to the Outsourcing process of Eurex Repo
- Direct reporting to the Management Board in connection with Outsourcing
Your profile
- You have successfully completed your university degree in economics, business administration or law or have comparable professional experience
- You have at least 2 years of professional experience in the field of Outsourcing, Regulatory or a comparable environment
- You have already gained a good knowledge of relevant supervisory law (DORA, MaRisk, WpIG, WpHG, MiFID II etc.)
- You are self-motivated and have a focus on delivery with a result-oriented and structured approach to problem solving
- Your flexibility and willingness to learn new topics and take on new tasks independently round off your profile
- You also have a very good knowledge in general office tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Word), preferably with a good understanding of workflow tools and process improvements
- You have a very strong communication skills in German and English including the ability to present complex topics in a comprehensive way
