Your area of work:
Physical Security at Deutsche Börse Group (DBG) is embedded within the Department of Group Security and ensures the mitigation of operational risks for all physical assets, including staff and buildings. As part of our team, you will take a decisive role in coordinating Physical Security projects and tenders. The Project Management Officer (PMO) is responsible for successfully managing the implementation of projects within the agreed scope, timeline and budget, in accordance with Deutsche Börse project methodologies and with our business objectives in mind. The PMO will be responsible for project planning, resourcing, forecasting, budget management, project status and progress reporting, identifying and tracking Risk & Issues. We are looking for a hands-on PMO with excellent process-related thinking and a strong team spirit.

Your Responsibilities:
•   Govern the portfolio of projects and change initiatives for Physical Security.
•   Steer projects and ensure their successful implementation within their scope, budget and timeline.
•   Constantly monitor and report on project/release progress/KPIs.
•   Report to and participate in project governing bodies (Steering Committees) and any project stakeholder/related forum.
•   Proactively take decisions or seek approval to ensure the project stays on track.
•   Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders, Outsourcing, Compliance, etc., to smoothly supervise the project’s practical implementation and track its evolution and subsequent benefits realization.
•   Provide support to the line manager on a variety of ad hoc tasks, including responding to emerging security incidents and administration.

Your profile:
•   1-5 years of experience in project management or corporate security.
•   Understanding of project management methodologies, tools, and techniques is essential for a PMO role.
•   You are flexible and versatile; you effectively provide value in different subjects and activities and excel in multitasking and dynamic prioritization.
•   Attention to detail; excellent analytical skills; ability to build and keep the end-to-end vision while digging into the required details; ability to create structure and develop project approaches from initial ideas.
•   Excellent communication and problem-solving skills are required.
•   Advanced knowledge of MS 365, including Microsoft Office suite (Excel/Word/PowerPoint) and SharePoint, is required.
•   Interest in new technologies, e.g. AI, and its impact on Physical Security processes.
•   High proficiency in English and German.
