Your area of work
As an working student (f/m/d) you will support the team in the IMS Strategy department significantly.
Your responsibilities:
- You will assist the business strategy team in preparing market and competitor analyses to support strategic decision-making
- You will gain interesting insights in the strategic work of a leading financial services group and its growth areas such as investment management technology, indexing and data relevant for buy-side clients (asset managers, asset owners, etc.)
- Furthermore, you will support the team by creating presentations, benchmarking, reports, and briefings for senior management and internal stakeholders
- You take responsibility for own small projects supporting the Strategy in increasing efficiency and creating innovative solutions
- Your role is to support key strategic projects
- In addition to these exciting tasks, we offer you deep insights into the investment management area of Deutsche Börse Group and its buy-side clients as well as the opportunity to be part of a dynamic and highly motivated team
Your profile:
- You are enrolled during the entire period of activity at a state-recognized university as a regular student and have completed at least 4 semesters
(Study focus in the field of informatics, mathematics, physics, economics, business studies, humanities or other relevant fields) - Ideally, you have already gained first practical experience via e.g. internships or working student jobs in the area of corporate strategy, consulting or front office experience in the asset management industry
- You are interested in the capital market and investment management area
- Thanks to your strong analytical, organizational and communication skills, you work effectively both independently and as part of a team. You find it easy to think conceptually and quickly familiarize yourself with new topics.
- You have very good knowledge in MS Office applications (especially Power Point and Excel)
- You are fluent in written and spoken in English
