Your area of work:

In Finance Governance & Controls, you ensure that Deutsche Börse Group’s finance processes are efficient, well controlled and audit ready. You shape and maintain group wide frameworks for end to end finance processes, internal controls and risk governance, and act as a trusted expert for the Finance Function in a highly regulated environment. Your focus is to strengthen process quality, transparency and scalability while enabling sustainable change.

 

Your responsibilities:

  • Own and continuously improve group wide finance processes and controls
    Ensure stable, compliant and efficient end to end finance processes across entities by evolving process and internal control frameworks
  • Drive process excellence and control effectiveness
    Identify weaknesses, risks and inefficiencies; design and implement pragmatic improvements balancing regulatory, operational and business needs
  • Act as group level governance and control advisor
    Support the Finance Function with expert guidance on internal control, risk and policy requirements; ensure consistent application in close cooperation with the first line of defense
  • Ensure transparency, quality and auditability
    Monitor effectiveness through control testing, KPIs/KRIs and reviews; maintain clear documentation and provide management ready insights
  • Enable change and capability building
    Contribute to cross functional initiatives (e.g. process redesign, SAP/S/4HANA, automation) and strengthen process and control awareness through targeted training

 

Your profile:

  • University degree in Finance, Business Administration or a related field
  • Solid professional experience in finance governance, internal controls, audit, process management or consulting, with a strong understanding of financial reporting processes
  • Proven ability to analyze complex end to end processes, assess risks and controls, and translate findings into practical, scalable solutions
  • Strong analytical, conceptual and methodological skills combined with a structured, hands on working style
  • Confident communicator with the ability to explain complex topics clearly and interact effectively with senior stakeholders in an international environment
  • High level of ownership, resilience and motivation in a transformation driven context
  • Fluency in English; German and experience with SAP / S/4HANA or automation are strong advantages
