Your career at Deutsche Börse Group

Do you have solid experience in VAT compliance and are looking to take on responsibility in an international environment? Join our specialized Indirect Tax team at Deutsche Börse AG.

Your area of work:

As part of Group Tax – the central tax department of Deutsche Börse Group – you will work closely with our local tax compliance teams. You will be responsible for ensuring VAT compliance for our German entities and actively contribute to the development of processes and systems.

Your responsibilities:

  • Preparation and review of VAT returns, EC sales lists, and annual VAT declarations for German group entities
  • Participation in year-end closing processes and tax audits
  • Acting as a point of contact for VAT-related matters within the organization
  • Further development and optimization of VAT-relevant processes and tax compliance tools – especially in the area of input VAT allocation
  • Collaboration with internal departments such as Accounting, Legal, and IT, as well as external advisors

Your profile:

  • Completed vocational training as a tax clerk, further qualification as a certified accountant or tax specialist, or a (technical) university degree in business administration with a focus on taxation or finance
  • 3–5 years of professional experience in VAT compliance, ideally in the financial services sector
  • Confident handling of ERP systems and VAT compliance tools (e.g. VERA, Vertex)
  • Strong analytical skills, initiative, and a collaborative mindset
  • Fluent in German and English, both written and spoken
