Corporate IT of Deutsche Börse Group oversees end user workplace experience, voice & communication, application development and operations for all group processes such as Financial Core, Customer Care, as well as Control & Corporate Processes. We also develop and operate our Enterprise Analytics and Digital Boardroom which are the core of sharing and measuring our group’s success.

You will be part of a team that acts as a Center of Excellence for Automation within Deutsche Börse Group. Your focus will be on the evaluation, design, customization, and optimization of Jira-based solutions. You will bring your expertise in designing automation solutions, integrating them within the existing IT landscape, and supporting all governance aspects. You will collaborate with various groups within Deutsche Börse Group to pursue and deliver digital engagements, bringing our internal clients' digital vision and strategy to life. We are looking for seniors who can help us expand our automation footprint at Deutsche Börse Group.
Your responsibilities:
- Act as an architect, providing technical leadership and guidance to the development team
- Lead and manage projects from inception to completion, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to quality standards
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, analyze business needs, and design effective solutions
- Implement best practices for software development, including reviews, testing, and continuous integration.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues, ensuring system reliability and performance
- Stay updated with the latest Jira features and best practices to continuously improve our Jira environment
Your profile:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels
- Proficiency in scripting language Groovy
- Experience with Jira plugin development and integration using REST APIs
- Strong understanding of software development methodologies, including Agile and DevOps practices
- Fluency in English is mandatory, in verbal and written form
