Your area of work:
Group Tax is responsible for all tax related matters within Deutsche Börse Group, supported by the local tax compliance teams. As a member of our Indirect Tax team, you will contribute to the VAT compliance of our German established companies. If you are interested to work in a challenging environment, to contribute your IT and VAT know how and to further develop your skills within this area, we would appreciate to receive your application.
Your responsibilities:
- Preparation of preliminary, annual VAT returns and EC sales lists for our German subsidiaries
- Support of monthly and annual closing processes
- Preparation of tax audit requests
- Taking on the role of a business partner for VAT related questions
- Support of the further improvement of tax relevant processes
Your profile:
- Vocational training as a tax clerk, tax expert or similar or university degree in economics or law, further qualifications (e.g. MBA or LL.M.) appreciated
- Strong analytical skills, business attitude and very good communication skills, highly motivated team player
- Profound professional experience within VAT compliance
- In-depth know how of banking industry
- Detailed know how of IDP, especially ERP systems, VAT compliance and MS Office applications
- Very good proficiency in written and spoken German, English considered as advantage
