As an Intern - Risk Management (f/m/d) you will have the excellent opportunity to explore capital market dynamics and to gain valuable practical experience in the Reporting & Data Quality Management unit. The responsibilities of the unit are, among others, creation of regular and comprehensive management and regulatory risk reports, monitoring and mitigation of various risks as well as improving data quality standards to further strengthen risk management processes. During your internship, you will be actively taking part in our processes, while we will be offering you diverse, interesting and above all challenging tasks.
Your responsibilities

- You will regularly create comprehensive risk management reports and gain insights into Margining, Credit Stress Testing and Credit, Concentration & Wrong Way Risks.
- You will support the team in designing and improving risk reporting tools using self-service functionalities and driving automatization of existing processes.
- You will support model users with deep dive analysis of data anomalies.
- You will support the team with regular parameter updates.
- You will be part in developing data quality standards for the department and improve resilience of existing or future processes.
- You will help specify new risk reports and implement changes to current ones in order to further improve customer transparency.
Your profile

- You are matriculated throughout the duration of your internship at a state approved university with minimum of two semesters of undergraduate studies in economics, finance, mathematics, physics, financial engineering, computer science or any other comparable field.
- You have a keen interest in the field of financial markets, risk management and data analytics.
- You have already gained experience in working within an operational setup, where regular timelines and quality standards need to be continuously fulfilled.
- You have the ability to work in a team and bring excellent communication and presentation skills.
- You have good knowledge of MS-Office applications and practical experience in SQL and Python or a similar programming language.
- You are proficient in written and spoken English.
