Your career at Deutsche Börse Group

Your area of work

As a working student (f/m/d) in IT Engineering you will support the Corporate IT Applications team with daily user support tasks (2nd level) and contribute to automation projects to improve reporting and operational processes, including scripting.

 

Your responsibilities:

  • Support 2nd-level incident handling (L2): analyze issues, propose solutions, and document outcomes 
  • Contribute to internal reporting and improve/automate recurring reports 
  • Help design and implement new processes and workflows across tools and environments 
  • Support administration and operational tasks for our document management system Alfresco (e.g., workflows, permissions, troubleshooting) 
  • Work with Jira for ticket handling and Confluence for documentation and knowledge sharing 
  • Support the implementation of an automated role recertification process for Alfresco 
  • Gain exposure to additional applications supported by the team (~30) and contribute to continuous improvements 

 

Your profile:

  • You are enrolled at an accredited university throughout the employment period and have completed at least two semesters (e.g., Computer Science, IT, Information Systems, or a related field), or you hold a Bachelor’s degree and are currently enrolled in a Master’s program.
  • Strong interest in IT operations and service delivery for internal users 
  • Proactive, self-motivated, and eager to learn 
  • Available to work 19 hours/week and able to come to the Eschborn office at least once per week (hybrid model) 
  • Fluent in written and spoken English 
  • Ideally, you have gained initial practical experience in scripting and automation (e.g., PowerShell, Python, Bash) and have basic knowledge of system administration and web services/APIs
