1. Is there a minimum duration for the internship?

If you would like to join us for a voluntary internship, you should plan for three to a maximum of six months. For mandatory internships as part of your degree programme, the duration depends on the requirements of the respective examination regulations.

2. I have already completed my studies. Can I still do an internship?

Yes, you can apply for an orientation internship at Deutsche Börse Group, if you are in your gap year or have your degree, which may not be longer than 6 months ago. If you have completed your highschool diploma, you can also do an orientation internship, provided that your graduation was no longer than 3 months ago.

3. What is the remuneration for an internship at Deutsche Börse?

The remuneration for your internship depends on the country of your internship and whether it is mandatory or voluntary.

4. What additional benefits do I receive as part of an internship or as a student working for Deutsche Börse?

In Germany, students receive a lunch allowance of €7.10 per day for our bistro and canteen as well as free drinks. In addition, students receive access to our corporate benefits platform with discounts on many products and services.

5. How many hours can I work as a student?

Under our part-time agreements, students may work a minimum of 5 hours and a maximum of 19 hours per week. The respective work hours are stated in the job description.

5. Is there an application deadline for the trainee programmes?

Yes, the programme starting on 1 October has an application deadline on 5 July; the application deadline for the programme starting on 1 April is 17 January.

6. How many months in advance should I apply?

Ideally, you should submit your application documents two to three months before the desired entry date.

7. What is the duration of student contracts at Deutsche Börse?

Our contracts run for a maximum of 12 months, after which the contract can be extended.

8. What are the working hours for an internship?

The regular working time during your internship at Deutsche Börse is 39 hours per week.
