Your area of work:
As a Functional Analyst / Tester, you will play a key role within the Settlement IT Team. You will contribute to Clearstream’s growth by ensuring that newly introduced functionalities are correctly designed, implemented, and validated. Your responsibilities will include reviewing specifications used by developers, performing comprehensive testing, and participating in the implementation of new features. You will also support a wide range of IT projects and programs across the organization.

 

Your responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with Business and Development teams to prepare and validate system changes.
  • Write and review detailed functional and system requirements.
  • Deliver functional acceptance criteria and define the testing approach.
  • Conduct thorough testing and validation of settlement systems to ensure the highest standards of quality.
  • Provide detailed test reporting, including documentation of defects and issues.
  • Assist and advise customers during their testing activities.
  • Prepare and support internal user training sessions.
  • Deliver presentations on functional topics to team members and stakeholders.
  • Follow established methodologies and processes across all phases of the project lifecycle.

 

Your profile:

  • University degree or equivalent professional qualification or experience.
  • Proficiency in written and spoken English.
  • 5 years of experience in a financial institution IT area as a functional analyst and tester.
  • Strong interest in Information Technology.
  • Proficiency with PC tools and collaboration platforms such as Jira and GitHub; familiarity with SQL, databases, use‑case modeling, XML, and SWIFT is an advantage.
  • Excellent organizational and analytical skills with strong attention to detail.
  • Strong verbal and written communication and presentation skills.
  • Team player with a positive and proactive attitude.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and deliver high‑quality results in a team environment.
  • Ability to meet challenging project deadlines and perform well in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment.
