Deutsche Börse Group is a leading financial services provider, offering comprehensive trading, clearing, settlement, and market data solutions on a global scale. Our highly integrated and automated IT systems are a key driver of our success, enabling seamless access to international capital markets.

 

Within the Commodities IT domain, you will take on the role of IT Service Owner, responsible for the reliable delivery of 24/7 mission-critical infrastructure and platform services across multiple product lines. You will act as a key interface between service delivery teams and product stakeholders, ensuring alignment with business objectives, effective prioritization, and overall service excellence.

 

 

Your responsibilities:

 

  • Ensure stable and efficient delivery of 24/7 infrastructure and platform services, applying a FinOps mindset
  • Manage and prioritize the service backlog in alignment with product roadmaps and business priorities
  • Proactively manage stakeholders to avoid conflicting requirements and ensure clear prioritization
  • Monitor and continuously improve service delivery processes to maintain high-quality, compliant services
  • Act as a central point of coordination across the service delivery chain, ensuring transparent and timely communication
  • Facilitate regular service management meetings and provide reporting to internal and external stakeholders
  • Maintain and evolve the operational handbook and service catalog, driving continuous process optimization
  • Support and participate in audits, security discussions, and regulatory activities
  • Coordinate escalations and collaborate with subject matter experts and line management

 

 

Your profile:

 

  • Strong problem-solving and project management skills, with experience working in a matrix organization
  • Ability to think holistically, including understanding of FinOps principles and cost-of-opportunity concepts
  • Assertive personality with the ability to drive topics forward and take ownership
  • Solid knowledge of agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) and hands-on experience with Jira
  • Excellent communication skills in English, including requirement gathering and prioritization decision-making
  • Good understanding of IT concepts and service environments
  • Familiarity with contract lifecycles and process documentation
  • Strong team player with the ability to collaborate across functions

 

 

Nice to have:

 

  • Experience delivering IT services or products in a regulated environment
  • Understanding of modern infrastructure technologies (cloud, virtualization, containerization, Kubernetes)
  • Knowledge of databases, CI/CD pipelines, and testing approaches
  • Experience with incident and conflict resolution
  • ITIL certification
  • Familiarity with DORA and Business Continuity concepts
