Your area of work:
As Functional Tester, you will be an essential part of the Settlement IT Team. You will contribute to the growth of Clearstream because you ensure that new functionalities are correctly implemented. Therefore, you will review specification that your developers rely on, then test them and participate in their implementation. You will also support all kind of IT projects/programs across the organisation.
Your responsibilities:
- Collaborate with Functional analysts and developers to validate our systems changes
- Review the detailed functional and systems requirements
- Deliver Functional Acceptance Criteria and test approach
- Conduct thorough testing and validation of our settlement systems, ensuring that our platforms meet the highest standards of quality.
- Provide detailed reporting about test status, including documentation of software defects
- Work together with business and I.T. to facilitate resolution of issues and defects during System Test and BAT.
- Assist and advise customer’s testing activities.
- Prepare and support internal users training.
- Presentations to the team about functional matters.
- Work with prescribed methodologies for involvement in all stages of project lifecycle.
Your profile:
- University degree or equivalent professional qualification or experience.
- 2-3 years of experience in a financial institution back-office, or as functional or business analyst in the securities industry.
- Experience with collaboration tools such as Jira, Github, use case modelling.
- Strong knowledge about SQL, databases.
- Excellent organisational and analytical skills with strong attention to detail.
- Excellent oral and written communication and presentation skills
- Team player with a positive and pro-active attitude.
- Ability to work and produce good results under pressure within a team environment
- Ability to meet challenging project deadlines and deliver in a fast moving and change oriented environment.
- Flexibility.
- Proficiency in written and spoken English.
