Your area of work:

The Financial Accounting & Regulatory Reporting function covers the full spectrum of financial accounting and regulatory reporting activities, including strategic initiatives, internal audit interactions, and event-driven mandates. Within this function, the Supervisory Reporting & Daily Monitoring team is responsible for the timely and accurate submission of regulatory data to national and European competent authorities, as well as the continuous monitoring of key regulatory ratios.

 

The team operates within a highly regulated environment, following applicable regulatory frameworks such as regulatory and implementing technical standards, circulars, and ongoing communication with supervisory authorities (e.g. CSSF, ECB, EBA).

 

As an intern in the Supervisory Reporting & Daily Monitoring team, you will support the preparation and submission of regulatory reports for Clearstream entities. In addition, you will contribute to the daily monitoring of regulatory ratios (e.g. liquidity and capital metrics) and support analytical assessments explaining movements and trends. The role requires close cooperation with multiple stakeholders across Deutsche Börse Group to meet strict reporting deadlines and regulatory expectations.

 

Your responsibilities:

  • Support the preparation and submission of regulatory reports to national and European authorities
  • Perform daily monitoring and analysis of key regulatory ratios and indicators
  • Contribute to the investigation of variances and drivers impacting regulatory metrics
  • Support the team in regulatory-related tasks and ad hoc requests
  • Participate in the analysis and interpretation of regulatory requirements and developments
  • Assist with administrative tasks such as correspondence, document review and updates, and report transmission processes
  • Ensure clear and structured communication with internal stakeholders across different functions

 

Your profile:

  • You are enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree program in Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline and can provide an internship agreement
  • You have a basic understanding or strong interest in banking regulation and supervisory reporting
  • You are proficient in MS Office applications, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
  • You demonstrate strong attention to detail, accuracy, and reliability in your work
  • You are motivated, proactive, and able to work independently while meeting tight deadlines
  • You possess good communication skills and enjoy working in an international and multicultural environment
  • You are fluent in English (written and spoken)
