As an IT Governance Specialist at Deutsche Börse AG, you will step into a strategic role within our CIO/COO Division, joining the IT Governance, Risk & Transformation Department — a team that sits at the intersection of technology & regulation.
Your expertise matters here. Drawing on your years of experience in IT Governance, you will take ownership of shaping, evolving, and strengthening our IT Governance Framework — ensuring it remains robust, future-proof, and aligned with the highest industry standards. You will leverage your deep understanding of governance methodologies to continuously monitor IT performance and translate complex data into clear, actionable insights through holistic reporting to senior management. Your contributions will directly drive IT excellence, helping the organization navigate an increasingly complex regulatory and technological landscape with confidence and agility.
Your responsibilities:
- Actively support the further development and shaping of the IT Governance Framework
- Take ownership in analysis, conceptional design, development and implementation of CIO IT Governance Management Reporting (CIO Dashboard)
- Actively measure, analyse and maintain KPIs with respective tooling and driving reporting quality
- Provide IT Governance subject matter expertise to the Group CIO management team as well as support in IT Governance council and committee meetings
- Stakeholder management, preparation and presentation of actionable results to IT management also as part of relevant projects
Your profile:
- Academic degree in Information Technology, Mathematics, Physics, Economics, Business administration, or other academic studies
- Several years of relevant professional experience in IT Governance and/or IT Risk Management with holistic overview of IT landscape, IT Processes and technology
- Wide range of experience in design and implementation of IT senior management / CIO reporting as well as defining and measuring IT Governance KPIs
- Familiar with IT regulatory requirements ideally for financial services industry, e.g. DORA, MaRisk
- Familiar with IT standards such as COBIT and ITIL, relevant certifications preferred
- Excellent analytical and communication skills, structured working method, problem-solving skills and hands-on mentality, project management experience is a plus
- Proficiency in written and spoken German and English language
