Your area of work
Financial markets require fast, concise and accurate information. Market Data +Services (MD+S) provides trading participants with low latency, high-quality data and smart analytics. Among our clients are trading firms, asset managers, algo traders, hedge funds, data vendors and retail brokers. We offer comprehensive data sets, not only from Deutsche Börse Group’s flagship venues, such as Eurex, Xetra, EEX etc., but also from international cooperation partners. Leveraging our extensive expertise in data distribution, licensing, and commercialization, we make critical market data available to clients around the globe.
Your responsibilities
- You are responsible for the acquisition of new clients
- You act as a consultative sales professional - listening, diagnosing, advising, and pitching
- You design and execute sales activities in close collaboration with the members of the sales team
- You develop and grow the sales pipeline and report your successes using adequate software tools such as SAP C4
- You actively engage in sales events, conferences and trade shows
- You monitor industry developments and competitor analyses
- You contribute to the preparation of management presentations and reporting
Your profile
- You have 2-4 years of experience with B2B sales within the financial industry with a proven record in consultative sales
- You have successfully completed your university degree in business administration, finance or a comparable education with relevant professional experience
- You are a proactive and reliable team member who is eager to contribute to shared goals
- You have excellent communication and interpersonal skills combined with strong organized approach and the ability to learn quickly
- You are proficient in written and spoken English as well as MS Office applications. Proficiency in German is a plus
- Your knowledge of the market data industry is a plus
- You are open to occasional international travel
