Your area of work:

Corporate IT of Deutsche Börse Group is in charge of end user workplace experience, voice & communication, application development and operations for all group processes such as Financial Core, Customer Care, Control & Corporate Processes. We also develop and operate our Enterprise Analytics and Digital Boardroom which are the core of sharing and measuring our group’s success.

As a Strategy Consultant in Corporate IT you will be responsible for the development and execution of the area’s strategic goals in close alignment with internal and external stakeholders as well as senior management within the IT division as well as from non-IT areas. With this you have direct impact on the success of the area and you significantly contribute to Deutsche Börse Group overall strategy. You will be the translator from operational level to strategic vision and act as project manager and co-manager for projects with high impact on the development and shaping of Deutsche Börse’s corporate IT landscape.

Your responsibilities:

You are supporting the development of long-term strategic goals and related projects for the Corporate IT area in close cooperation with internal and external business stakeholders and customers
You are responsible for the co-management of end-to-end project management for Corporate IT projects across all teams and business segments and target internal and external company business partners
Relevant industry & market trends review, benchmarking as well as technology research
Development and validation of business cases according to scope, budget, timeline
Preparation of presentations and decision documents for the Group Executive Board, Supervisory Board and other senior executive management of DBG
Preparation and design of customer and partner presentation from technical audience to C-Level audience

Your profile:

University degree in economics or business with distinction (preferably with major focus on strategy, finance & controlling and/or technology etc.) or you have relevant comparable qualification
You have strong analytical skills and good knowledge of quantitative tools and methods
You have a good/basic understanding of the IT industry and have affinity for technology topics
You have 1 - 3 years professional experience in the fields of Corporate Strategy/Corporate Finance or in consultancy area
You have in-depth understanding and knowledge of project management methods as well as a good understanding of business principles and processes
You have very strong communication skills – written and verbal, ability to communicate effectively across all seniority levels, in English and Germa
Your high commitment, structured way of working, intrinsic motivation and can-do attitude complete your profile
