Corporate IT is the Enterprise IT of Deutsche Boerse Group, developing and operating IT services for all corporate functions, as well as the data warehouses and reference data / master data applications which provide security, price and corporate action data for the cash, post- and pre-trade processes.

As Head of Revenue Collections IT you will join our Corporate IT leadership team as a highly experienced and energetic leader. 


In a dynamic, customer- and technology-oriented environment, you would drive our transformation to the next generation of digital billing solutions, and you contribute to our cloud journey as well as new enterprise services.

Your Responsibilities

  • As the Head of Revenue Collections, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our billing technology systems and processes, ensuring the highest standards of accuracy, efficiency, and compliance. You will lead a team of IT professionals, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and play a key role in continuously improving our billing operations to support business growth and customer satisfaction goals.
  • Key responsibilities include: 
  • Lead the strategy, development, and management of the Revenue Collections IT function, ensuring alignment on strategic goals and drive joint business objectives of both, the CFO and IT division.
  • Manage and mentor a team of IT professionals, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
  • Drive the implementation, maintenance, and enhancement of billing systems and platforms, ensuring seamless integration with other financial systems.
  • Drive the transformation of billing operations through the adoption of new technologies, automation, and process improvements.
  • Monitor and report on the performance of systems, using data-driven insights to drive decision-making.
  • Manage vendor and supplier relationships for the Revenue collections IT team, evaluating vendor capabilities, negotiate contracts, and monitor service level agreements to ensure delivery of high-quality services and products supporting the organization's financial operations.
  • Oversee the preparation and execution of financial audits within the IT department. You work closely with internal and external auditors to ensure compliance with auditing standards, address audit findings, and implement necessary controls and improvements. 
  • Contribute to the organization's risk management efforts by identifying IT-related risks, assessing their potential impact on financial operations, and implementing appropriate risk mitigation strategies and controls. You work closely with the CFO office and other stakeholders to ensure risk management practices align with the organization's risk appetite. 
  • Stay on top of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in IT.

 

Your Profile

  • Proven experience in IT leadership roles with strong background in Technology, Computer Science, or related field; advanced degree preferred. 
  • Exceptional leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and lead a team of IT professionals, supporting the development of individuals and teams.
  • Strategic thinker with a track record of driving innovation and delivering measurable business outcomes.
  • Experience in managing senior business stakeholders using clear communication and be able to form and maintain strong business relationships.
  • Demonstrate knowledge in Cloud applications, architecture, and industry best- practice use cases.
  • Demonstrate knowledge in event driven architecture and/or the design and utilization of APIs. 
  • Demonstrate an interest in innovative technologies e.g. Machine Learning, Advanced Analytics, Artificial Intelligence and Automation.
  • Understand the benefits of using state of the art methods and tools and their application on engagement; be able to continuous development of methods and tools.
  • Possess very strong problem solving and analytical skills.
  • Be able to plan and deliver high quality work
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact and communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels of the organization from C-Level to individual level on visionary, strategic and technical scope.
