Your area of work:

The PTIT Operations & Governance department is mainly responsible for the provisioning of monitoring and support services to the Core IT Operations applications.

The PaaS Middleware team ensures that MQ systems (Linux, z/OS, Cloud environments) and services are fully operational and being utilized effectively and efficiently.

Your responsibilities:

MQ system administration Linux, Mainframe
MQ container deployments in OpenShift
Maintain MQ configurations in GitHub
Shifts
On-Call

Your profile:

University degree in Computer Science (or equivalent through business experience)
3+ years’ experience with MQ
2+ years’ experience with Linux (RedHat) systems
Scripting experience (Bash, Perl, Python)
Problem troubleshooting and solving ability
Ability and willingness to work on an on-call rotating schedule
Ability to network and partner with business applications and technical teams
Team player with good communication skills, highly motivated and flexible
Proficiency in written and spoken English

Would be an advantage:

Experience with OpenShift, Kubernetes
Knowledge of technology: GCP, Github, Jenkins, ArgoCD, Artifactory, Kibana
KAFKA knowledge
Basic IP network knowledge
Experience with z/OS systems
GO language knowledge
