Your area of work:

You will shoulder responsibility in one of the world’s leading international clearing and settlement organizations. In a dynamic, client and technology-oriented environment, you will be active in the area of accounting operations, consolidation and general ledger tasks.

 

 Your responsibilities:

  • Support month-end closing activities and contribute to the preparation of monthly financial reports
  • Assist in the preparation of annual financial statements under IFRS and Lux GAAP
  • Collaborate with internal and external auditors by preparing requested analyses and documentation and providing updates on day-to-day activities
  • Ensure the completeness and accuracy of the general ledger chart of accounts including proper reconciliation with various sub-ledgers
  • Perform key controls within the due date and document them in Jira
  • Maintain and update accounting policies, procedures, and internal documentation
  • Contribute to process improvements and automation initiatives
  • Report to the Head of Financial Accounting

 

Your profile:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Accounting, or a related field
  • A first relevant experience, ideally in audit or banking
  • Knowledge of IFRS, Lux GAAP, and bank accounting fundamentals
  • Strong skills in Excel; experience with SAP is an advantage
  • Excellent command of English; French and/or German are strong assets
  • Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to work with deadlines
  • Proactive attitude, willingness to learn, flexibility, and strong team spirit
