Your area of work
The Market Data + Services department commercializes proprietary data from the Deutsche Börse Group as well as international cooperation partners. Moreover, the area serves partner exchanges in terms of market data marketing and dissemination. We are looking to hire a sales associate to market and promote the historical data and analytics offerings from Deutsche Börse.
Your responsibilities
- Proactively engage with consumers of data and analytics internationally, with a European defined sales territory
- Market research, identification of demand and cross-selling opportunities
- Develop and execute strategic sales campaigns
- Attend networking events and conferences
- Create ad-hoc presentations for internal and external distribution
- Collaborate internally with sales teams across the Deutsche Börse Group
- Confidently present the data and analytics offerings and lead client facing meetings
- Business Development capabilities with confident cold calling techniques
- Manage a pipeline effectively
Your profile
- Minimum of 2+ years in sales trading, sales of financial data and analytics or sales of investment products
- University or comparable degree in business administration or finance
- Proven sales track record, strong commercial attitude, and persistence
- Financial market experience, including a deep understanding of market data offerings
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, high analytical competence
- Strong team player and cooperative attitude
- Very strong English language skills (additional languages are a plus)
