Field of Activity
Are you a seasoned relationship manager / sales expert in Asset Management / Financial Services and feel at home in a client-focused role that interacts with B2B business partners as well as internal stakeholders and experts? Are you at your best when cultivating high-quality relationships with clients, working on growing those relationships in size and profitability, as well as developing and implementing the underpinning sales strategy? We are currently looking for a Senior Relationship Manager for our Clearstream Fund Services Asset Management Sales team for APAC based in Hong Kong to complement our existing regional coverage out of Singapore.

 

Your Responsibilities:

  • Client Relationship Management: Lead to cover North Asia out of Hong Kong. Onboard, build and develop relationships with Asset Managers at a senior and working level, representing Clearstream Fund Services offering and capabilities, with a focus on the Fund Distribution Platform
  • Negotiation of Agreements: Negotiate & conclude new distribution and platform service agreements within the coverage expansion strategy
  • Service onboarded Asset Managers as first point of contact to navigate the Clearstream Fund Services ecosystem related both to products and operational questions 
  • Work closely with our regional distributor coverage team to ensure joint value proposition & growth trajectory of the fund distribution platform business in APAC
  • Develop and implement sales strategy: support to materially increase market penetration of Clearstream Fund services in the APAC region
  • Ensure targeted connectivity with teams in Sinapore, Zurich, Luxembourg, London and Frankfurt to deliver our global capabilities in order to drive commercial results
  • Actively manage coverage strategy and priorities for expanding the Asset Manager universe and revenues
  • Client Experience/ event arrangement: organize & carry out hospitality (roadshows, fund fairs, industry events), client visits, and regular contacts to build a positive customer experience for Asset Managers 
  • Internal Projects: Contribute to internal projects relevant to the APAC region

 

Our Requirements

  • Over 10 years of experience servicing B2B business partners
  • University degree in Business, Finance, Economics, IT or comparable education 
  • Proven commercial network in APAC asset management space 
  • Proven expertise in business building, contract negotiation and client relationship management
  • Self-directed can-do personality, able to work both independently locally while linking in and leveraging Singapore and international team
  • Fluency in English. Mandarin and Cantonese skills are strongly desirable 
  • General knowledge of Asset Management and Fund Platform/Distribution business
  • Excellent client and service orientation
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills
  • Result-oriented with problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Well-organized, accurate, proactive, conscientious, and resilient
  • Good regulatory background of fund and ETF distribution and/or data services is a plus
  • Preferable certifications: HKSI LE Paper 1 in Hong Kong (Singapore CMFAS Module 1B and 6A) 
  • Good understanding of the financial services industry, especially the funds and ETFs industry
