Your Area of Work:
As an AVP, Sales & Relationship Management with Clearstream Fund Services, your goal is to sell, promote and market our suite of investment funds services across Hong Kong, Greater China and North Asian countries for mutual funds and alternative funds. The expectation is you will develop quickly, leverage off your existing contacts in the industry and take on full sales responsibility. You will be a key part of a growing regional team and significantly contribute to the Deutsche Börse Group overall strategy.
Responsibilities:
- Proactively seek out sales opportunities, engage with prospective clients, sell into new markets and increase penetration with existing clients across the full suite of investment funds services
- Set up meetings, prepare and deliver sales presentations
- Manage your sales pipeline, document and report all sales activities
- Work closely with the client relationship management teams on all client sales opportunities
- Identifies any product enhancements and work with product management to enhance service
- Support and involve the regional Head of Sales and Relationship Management and the wider team to build the funds business in Hong Kong, Greater China and North Asia.
- Work well with other teams within the organisation to ensure smooth delivery of the product
- Execute the global fund services sales strategy into your local regional coverage
- Active participant in conferences, seminars and speak at industry events
- Thorough understanding of SFC regulations and guidelines
- Maintain professional knowledge, keep abreast of general market updates, industry developments and competitors’ activities
Your Profile:
- University degree in Economics, Business Administration, Finance or relevant
- Minimum 6+ years work experience in the financial or asset management sector ideally in Sales or Business Development is desirable
- Strong client facing, marketing, interpersonal and presentation skills
- Excellent organisational skills, communication skills, customer focused, ability to act independently and work well as a team player
- Frequent travel will be expected
- Proficiency in English is mandatory. Mandarin, Cantonese and other Asian languages is a plus
- Current SFC Type 1 and/or Type 4 Responsible Officer or Licensed Representative
