Your area of work:

As a Senior Collateral Management Specialist, you will play a key role in shaping and delivering the next generation of collateral management services for the securities finance industry.

Operating at the intersection of market innovation, product strategy, and commercial growth, you will identify emerging opportunities, translate client and regulatory requirements into market-leading solutions, and drive strategic initiatives from concept through implementation. Your work will contribute directly to the evolution of Clearstream's collateral management offering, supporting client adoption, operational efficiency, and sustainable business growth.

Working closely with Technology, Operations, Sales, Risk, Legal, and Compliance teams, you will lead cross-functional initiatives, influence stakeholders at all levels, and deliver solutions that create tangible value for clients and the business.

 

 

Your responsibilities: 

  • Define and execute the strategic roadmap for Clearstream's collateral management services, aligning product development with market trends, client needs, and regulatory developments.
  • Identify and assess new market opportunities, transforming client, industry, and regulatory insights into innovative product capabilities and service enhancements.
  • Lead strategic product initiatives from concept to delivery, ensuring successful execution, stakeholder alignment, and measurable business outcomes.
  • Drive the commercialization of products and services through compelling value propositions, pricing approaches, and go-to-market strategies.
  • Collaborate across Product Delivery, Technology, Operations, Sales, Risk, Legal, and Compliance teams to launch and enhance solutions successfully.
  • Develop business cases and strategic recommendations to support investment decisions and product prioritization.
  • Act as a catalyst for innovation and continuous improvement, challenging existing approaches and driving meaningful change.
  • Represent Clearstream in client engagements, industry forums, and working groups, strengthening market relationships and industry visibility.

 

Your profile: 

  • University degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related discipline; a Master's degree or relevant professional qualification is an advantage.
  • 8+ years of experience in Product Management, Collateral Management, Securities Finance, Triparty Services, Financial Market Infrastructure, or related capital markets businesses.
  • Strong understanding of collateral management, securities financing transactions, triparty services, and the regulatory framework impacting these activities.
  • Proven ability to identify market opportunities and translate client, industry, and regulatory developments into innovative products, service enhancements, and commercial outcomes.
  • Demonstrated track record of leading complex cross-functional initiatives from strategy through implementation, with a strong sense of ownership and accountability for results.
  • Commercially minded, with experience developing value propositions, supporting pricing strategies, driving client adoption, and contributing to business growth.
  • Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills, with the ability to build consensus and drive change across a matrix organization and senior stakeholder landscape.
  • Strategic, analytical, and results-oriented professional with excellent communication and presentation skills; fluent in English, with additional European languages considered an advantage.
