Location: Frankfurt am Main (including visits to other locations)
Understand the pulsating interplay of international markets at one of the largest international exchange and clearing organisations. With our comprehensive Trainee Program, you will learn how to operate and strategically develop our business in our expert departments. The Frankfurt Stock Exchange, the Eurex Derivatives Exchange and Eurex Clearing AG as well as the European Energy Exchange Group and 360T are part of our global financial infrastructure offering across all asset classes.
Gain hands-on experience in the versatile landscape of trading and clearing operations, compliance, risk management, client service, product development and strategy. While exploring diverse areas you will contribute to business processes, stakeholder management and strategic decision-making right from the beginning.
Spend an exciting 18 months primarily within our headquarters in Frankfurt, and gain insights into our worldwide operations at other locations.
Based on your interests, we will give you the opportunity to state your preferences with regards to different areas of work.
Program journey
1. trimester (6 months): Market Operations, Clearing & Risk Operations or Client Service
2. trimester (6 months): Risk Management or Compliance/Audit-oriented areas
3. trimester (6 months): Product Development, Business Development, Strategy or other functions depending on advancement in the first 12 months

As a Graduate Trainee, you will rotate through various departments, gaining insights into strategic decision-making and business processes. The job rotations will allow you to work with different experts, develop essential skills, and discover your potential in today's dynamic business environment. From the outset, you will have the opportunity to learn through feedback, job shadowing, and challenging projects.
Your personal development is our key focus and will be actively supported. You will have access to a dedicated Graduate Trainee learning journey, along with technical and soft-skill training opportunities. Additionally, you will benefit from onboarding sessions and exclusive knowledge sessions. Throughout your rotations, you will receive continuous feedback and engage in ongoing development discussions with leadership.
During the program, you will have the opportunity to build a strong personal network within Deutsche Börse Group. This network can be leveraged to kick-start your career, opening doors to new opportunities, providing valuable career advice, and helping you navigate the professional landscape more effectively.
Throughout the duration of the program, you will be matched with an experienced colleague acting as your personal mentor and supporting your development. Additionally, you will be paired with a buddy who will support you during the onboarding process and help you become familiar with the organization, ensuring you have the resources needed to start strong.
You will interact with our colleagues from all over the world and will gain insights into the work out our different offices. This will help you to develop an extensive network and get to know other locations of Deutsche Börse Group.
