Who may participate in our Graduate Trainee Programs?

Our Graduate Trainee Programs are designed for graduates from around the world. For majority of our programs, we look for graduates with good grades and a master’s degree, preferably in business administration, economics, engineering, information technology or a related field.

For our CFO-wide Trainee Program, we look for graduates with a master’s degree in business or economics with a focus on finance and controlling, or an equivalent qualification. Bachelor’s graduates with an outstanding degree, relevant internships and some professional experience may also apply.

When do the Graduate Trainee Program(s) start?

The start is planned for the 1st of October each year. However, we will take your availability into account.

Is there an application deadline for the Graduate Trainee Program(s)?

The application deadline depends on the exact programme and is mentioned in the job description. In case no application deadline is mentioned, you can apply as long as the job is posted.

Where is my workplace during the Graduate Trainee Program?

Your workplace depends on the specific Graduate Trainee Program. Currently, we offer programs in Eschborn, Prague, Luxembourg and Cork. During the program you will have the opportunity to also get in touch with our offices worldwide.

Which language should I use in my application documents?

As English is our corporate language, we ask that you prepare your application documents in English only.

Which documents are required as part of my application?

Your complete application documents include your curriculum vitae, a motivational letter, an overview of your grades, final certificates and, if applicable, employment references. 

Is it possible to apply for more than one Graduate Trainee Program?

Yes. If you are applying for several programs at the same time, please indicate your preference in your cover letter.

Can I apply for the Graduate Trainee Programs even if I already have several years of work experience?

If you already have several years of professional experience, you will find open positions in our job portal that may better match your profile. For the Finance & Risk Trainee Program, you can also apply if you have up to two years of professional experience.

Can I apply for the Graduate Trainee Program as a non-EU citizen?

Yes, of course. Please understand that you will have to bear the associated costs, e.g. for visa applications or relocation.

What are my career prospects after the Graduate Trainee Program?

During the program, you will gain various insights into your area in order to build the foundation for your future at Deutsche Börse Group. After successful completion of the Graduate Trainee Program, there are several options to grow your career with us.
