Area of work:
As Swaps Clearing Test Automation Python Developer with focus on business user testing, you will be mainly responsible for developing and maintaining the test automation suites that will be used in acceptance testing activities for new swaps clearing system versions. You will be part of the friendly environment of the of Swaps Clearing Business Acceptance Team working closely with the business development and technical implementation areas.
 

Your responsibilities:

  • Python implementation of the business acceptance test automation suites, as well as maintaining and enhancing the existing test automation repositories
  • Coordination of the test automation development and taking the ownership of the test automation processes
  • Close cooperation with the business acceptance team and understanding their requirements
  • Consultation with the business developments, technical development of the Swaps Clearing System of Swaps derivatives
  • Coordination and execution of automated business user tests, i.e. identifying the test cases and incorporating the Xray test cases and the test automation scripts in the Jenkins pipeline for the continuous regression test.
  • Understanding of test methodology
  • Tracking and follow up on defect resolution and validation
     

Your profile:

  • University degree, preferably in economics, information technology, mathematics, physics, engineering, or comparable education with 5 – 10 years of professional experience
  • Expertise and experience in the Python programming
  • Knowledge of XML/XSLT or FpML, SQL and experience in parsing XMLs
  • Experience in GUI test automation with Selenium would be an asset
  • Functional knowledge of OTC financial derivatives, e.g., Interest rate Swaps, Inflation Swaps and Non-deliverable Forward would be an asset
  • Calypso v16 & v17 experience with focus on Clearing module including ERS (Enterprise Risk Services) would be an asset
  • Experience in coordination, creation, and execution of functional and business user tests
  • Experience of JIRA application for issue/requirement tracking and test management applications such XRAY
  • High commitment and motivation, take on responsibility, creativity, and the ability to work independently as well as the ability to work flexibly in a team environment
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, a proficient manner as well as project experience
  • Proficiency in written and spoken English; additional German language skills will be an asset


Additionally, you need to be a team player with good communication skills, highly motivated, flexible, and good at handling MS Office applications.
