Your area of work:

As a Communications Specialist, you will be part of our Pre-and Post-Trading Communications team in the Group Communications & Marketing area. The area is responsible for the positioning of all Deutsche Börse Group entities in internal and external communications. The Pre- & Post-Trading Communications team develops and executes communication strategies and the core messages of the Group’s subsidiary Clearstream and its entities, its business segment Investment Management Solutions (IMS) and is also responsible for the alignment of all communication activities of the IMS entities ISS STOXX and SimCorp. In your role, you will join us in defining, safeguarding and advancing Clearstream’s business activities and position the IMS segment, through coherent, innovative and appropriate communication and positioning our top management as thought leaders in their field of expertise. 


Your responsibilities:

  • You act as a Communications Specialist for the Group’s Pre- and Post-trading business areas, such as Investment Management Solutions and Clearstream and coordinate internal and external communication topics
  • You actively place business topics and management in relevant internal and external channels, including social media, while developing strong narratives
  • You use the full range of communications activities and tools to define and deliver key messages and position us as thought leaders in our industry
  • You act as central contact for internal stakeholders and coordinator between the respective business divisions and Group Communications & Marketing
  • You advise your stakeholders on adequate formats and create content to appropriately position both the respective business division and its management 
  • You build up a comprehensive knowledge of our product and service offering as well as the business and regulatory environment


Your profile:

  • University degree in economics, business studies, communications or journalism studies, or a comparable qualification
  • Experience in a B2B environment, ideally in the financial services or technology industry
  • Strong interest in economic, financial, technological and digital topics
  • High communication affinity and expertise in both traditional and social media; ideally experience in an international media relations role or journalism
  • Excellent writing skills and ability to tailor formats and content geared to the respective target group
  • Project planning skills with the ability to work with various stakeholders in a complex and international environment
  • International mindset, open and creative personality, high degree of motivation and interpersonal skills
  • Eagerness to learn and to take on responsibility
  • Fluency in written and spoken in English, German language skills very favourable.
  • Good knowledge of MS Office programs round off your profile
