Senior Non-Financial Risk Manager (f/m/d)

Your area of work:
The unit assesses and reports all operational and business risks to enable the Executive Boards to monitor the overall risk profile, so that developments that could jeopardize the interests of DBG entities are identified at an early stage and suitable countermeasures are taken
Your responsibilities:
- Support the business units with the identification of non-financial risks and development of risk scenarios (including consideration of ESG impacting factors) and corresponding risk indicators
- Validation of identified non-financial risks regarding completeness and accuracy
- Assessment of non-financial risks by analysis of risk indicators, loss data and findings
- Contribution to improve risk awareness as part of the corporate culture
- Provide advice, challenge, and support to DBG units/entities to drive proactive risk management
- Support integration with our Internal Control System
- Periodic and ad hoc reporting of the non-financial risk exposure, as well as root cause analysis of related losses and issues
Your profile:
- Relevant university degree
- Previous experiences in Non-Financial Risk Management, preferably in an international banking/securities processing environment
- IT-affinity and interest (areas such as ICT Risk, Cloud Computing, Artificial Intelligence) are seen as a value adding factor
- Good knowledge of Deutsche Börse Group’s business model and risk profile
- Ability to explain complex concepts to non-experts and act as a senior sparring partner to our stakeholders
- Strong analytical skills, creativity, critical thinking, ability to identify problems and propose solutions independently
- Proficiency in written and spoken English, German would be an advance
- Sound knowledge of relevant risk management regulations
- Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills
- Willingness to travel periodically from Prague to the DBAG office in Frankfurt to strengthen team collaboration
