Field of activity
Asset Servicing Product Development is responsible for the definition and (further) development of all products and services that Clearstream Banking has to offer its customers in the areas of Asset Servicing and is managed on a global level. The activities and responsibilities also include in particular the integration of regulatory requirements (e.g. European CSD regulation (CSD-R, Shareholder Rights Directive (SRD II) and new market trends (e.g. distributed ledger/ Blockchain technology) into the overall product development and strategy. In addition, Product Development is in regular contact with customers, associations, data providers, asset servicing & workflow providers, trading venues and CCPs, as well as various DBAG internal departments.
Tasks/responsibilities
- Focus Asset Servicing, with specific emphasis on “General Meeting” (GM) and Shareholder Disclosure activities
- Business coordinator and contact to operations and IT around proxy voting and shareholder communication product & service offering
- Coordinate client, issuer/issuer agent interaction together with relationship management on proxy voting and shareholder identification topics
- Manage the overall shareholder disclosure product & service - monitoring market developments, onboarding of new issuers/issuer agents, maintaining and developing further the operating model for SID, managing client communication and documentation
- Identify new business opportunities using Shareholder Identification Disclosure (SID) product and respective ISO20022 messages
- Identify business changes to extend SID process to other markets
- Monitoring and Due Diligence of providers and partners in the context of SID
- Support product test and implementation around SID and GM with customers, depositories and issuer agents
Qualifications/required skills
- Fluent English is mandatory, knowledge of another language (German/ French) is an asset
- Strong team player willing to cooperate with multiple interfaces across departments and locations
- Ability to work and produce good results under pressure within international team environment
- Good competence in Microsoft Office products required
