Your career at Deutsche Börse Group

Clearstream as premier provider of settlement & custody services needs to ensure continuous monitoring of service delivery processes and processing performance, establish and maintain strong operational controls and co-ordinate business contingency measures to comply with laws, regulations, policies and procedures. The unit has a functional and line reporting to Risk Mgt section in Luxembourg. For the Claims Investigation activity, the unit has a functional reporting line to CSS Claims Management in Luxembourg.

 

Your Responsibilities

  • Assessment of claims reported by the business areas. Perform liability assessment in close collaboration with impacted business area’s and legal, as appropriate.
  • Define and argument claim settlement proposal (claim full/partial payment or rejection)
  • Assessment of operational risk relevant incidents reported by the business areas.
  • Identification and definition of measures to avoid re-occurrence with impacted business areas, follow up and implementation of measures to be taken to avoid recurrence. 
  • Produce and deliver statistics of claims to the different business areas.
  • Administration, monitoring and reporting of internal accounts. This includes validating new account opening requests, reconciliation of Claims owned accounts & follow up on their reconciliation status with business owners.
  • Ensure adequate reporting of the various Claims & incident related items towards management and business areas.
  • Ensure interactions with all relevant Clearstream business areas including Financial Accounting & Controlling, Internal Audit, Markets Legal, Compliance & Risk Management for all Claims & Incident related activities.
  • Ensure alignment of process with process owners and with Claims & Incident Mgt units in other locations

 

Your Profile

  • University degree in economics, financial markets or business management is a plus.
  • Several years experience with CGSS products, services and business applications, well developed understanding of business context and processes or several years experience in a similar Claims/Incident Mgt environment
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to solve complex problems autonomously.
  • Critical mind set and good organisational skills.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability/willingness to build network.
  • Strong team player in an international environment
  • Fluency in English (verbal and written), any other language is a advantage.
